Dear Sir or Madam,

Good day and welcome to Angel Alert. Now that you have received your medical alert device we would like to get started.

Activating your device:

Upon opening your package, you will find your device wrapped in bubble wrap.

Please remove the device from the bubble wrap sleeve.

There will be a warning sticker affixed to your medical alert device.

Please remove that sticker.


Underneath that sticker you will then see the “HELP” button.

Please push that button down now.

You will see the green light in the top left-hand corner begin to blink.

It will blink 5-6 times and then will remain solid.

The device will then announce “Your device is now ready”.

It is then you will push the “Help” button until you hear it beep.

Remove your finger from the button.

The device will announce “Placing an emergency call now”

There will be a follow up message stating “To cancel your call, please push and hold down the help button for 2 seconds now”.




We want the device to connect with the monitoring center.

When the operator comes on the line, please tell her or him that you are “Just testing”.

They will then want to confirm your home address and will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Charging your device:
Inside your box you will also find another smaller box which contains your adapter. Remove that from the box as well please. You will see the power cord that is twist tied as we will want to leave your device charging.

On the one end of your power cord will be a USB plug to plug into the adapter for the wall with a corresponding USB port. The charger is magnetized for easy connection. When successfully connected to the back of the device, it will then announce “Your device is now charging.”

You will want to leave it charging for 3 hours. We do recommend that you follow “The rule of 3” when charging. That means to charge your device for 3 hours every 3 days. Keeping your device charged responsibly is a priority and if you currently have a cell phone, we recommend keeping your charging cord with your cell phone charger.
